Streamlined Assembly & Approval

  We’ve designed a stress-free process that helps you build faster and with confidence. It begins with a Preliminary Planning Assessment to help you avoid unnecessary delays and costly development applications. Our partners at VTAS Certification Services can assist to fast-track your approval process, guiding you every step of the way. From there, we provide you with The Turn Key Lodge modular home, with a typical lead time of just 12 to 16 weeks. Once delivered, we will assemble The Turn Key Lodge and it will be move-in ready within approximately two weeks, handled by our professional, licensed builders.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does The Turnkey Lodge take to build?

The assembly process typically takes around 2 weeks for Property Friends to complete your home to a “move-in ready”. This rapid timeline is a key benefit of The Turnkey Lodge’s modular design.

What do I do with the shipping container?

Our shipping containers are brand new, single-voyage units that need to be returned to the port of shipment within 10 days. You may choose to purchase and use them as a garage with extra storage, man-cave or we will simply take care of the return for you.

What site preparation is required before delivery?

Your site must be cleared and levelled prior to delivery. Footings or foundations will be prepared by our licensed builder, included as part of the construction process.

What ongoing maintenance is required?

The Turnkey Lodge is built with durable, high-quality materials. Like any home, it will require routine maintenance to maintain peak condition over time. Should materials be required for replacement, those are typically available at leading Australian hardware stores.

Is external decking included?

Absolutely. The Turnkey Lodge includes a well-designed external decking area of over 30m², creating additional comfortable outdoor living space.

What does the VTAS Certification Package provide?

The VTAS team can help you through the entire building process—liaising with certifiers, engineers, and service providers as needed. They can provide all required documentation to obtain building approval to the Certificate of Occupancy, removing stress and simplifying the journey.

Can I elect not to take the Certification Package?

Yes, but please note: if you begin your own building or certification process, you cannot access the VTAS service later. Additionally, without our certification package, we cannot guarantee successful Class 1a or Cyclone CAT3 certification.

Can I customise my Lodge?

While structural modifications are possible with a licensed builder, we discourage altering the original concept, which has been tested for value, efficiency, and compliance. Changes are generally limited to external additions or combining multiple units. However, you can absolutely personalise your home with a range of fit-out upgrades and inclusion options. We are happy to discuss your requirements when going through the discovery call to fully understand your specific requirements.
