Property Friends combines modular construction with Specialist Disability Accommodation knowledge to deliver the Koala SDA Home—a purpose-designed, single-participant home focused on independence, privacy, comfort and long-term liveability.

The Koala provides participants with a home of their own while allowing space for onsite overnight assistance where required. Each project is planned around the participant’s needs, the intended SDA design category, the site and the requirements of the relevant consultants and certifiers.

A Better Approach to Single-Participant SDA

The Koala SDA Home is designed for participants who may benefit from living independently rather than sharing their primary living spaces with other residents.

The design combines private accommodation, accessible living areas and provision for support, helping create a home that feels residential while responding to the participant’s functional requirements.

Property Friends works with participants, families, support coordinators, providers, allied health professionals, SDA consultants and investors to coordinate the project from early planning through to completion.
